ZOGS REACH .500 FOR SECOND TIME IN TEAM HISTORY

PORTLAND, ME - After beginning the season at 2-1-0 and then suffering a five game slide, the ZOGS have rebounded to win the last four games and improve their record to 6-6-0, tied for 5th place in the league.  Hard work and easier competition has predicated the ZOGS current rise.  Their next three games, however, are against the top three teams in the league.  Play It Again, Portland PD, and Freightliner are currently playing their best hockey of the season and will test the ZOGS for all they're worth.  It's time for the ZOGS to step up and show what they are made of.

Here are some highlights from the first half of the season, in case you haven't been following the team:

**  Bill Paradis 5-game goal scoring streak in the ZOGS first five games of the season.

**  Andrew Bradford nets 6 goals in an 11-6 victory against Tec Associates. He also leads the team in goals scored with 16 and total points with 25.

**  Rob Carrier has scored a hat trick twice this season (10/13 & 12/14) and is second on the team in goals (9), assists (10), and total points (19).

**  Greg Perry has benefited from playing on the same line as the ZOGS leading scorer and leads the team in assists, in Adam Oates like fashion, with 13.

**  Jack Michaud dishes 3 assists in a 10-5 loss to Addecco TAD.

**  Joe Marshall leads all defensemen with 8 assists and 9 total points.  He also leads the ZOGS in total penalty minutes.

**  Tim Dominick shuts out Boulous & Gardner, not once, but twice this season for the first and second shutout of his career.  To add insult to injury, he also scored an assist in the first shutout.

**  Mike Camire has a 3 assist night against MacDonald Page.
